Chapter 3

That couldn’t be truth. There must be duplicate key Papa could have used that morning. Tanvi and Bhaiya were talking stupid. They didn’t understand the seriousness of the situation. I didn’t know what was making them believe that Papa was in the house only. What she meant by down there? There’s basement in that room but it’s not having enough space to stand comfortably. It’s even dustier than that shabby room. What could possibly be the truth? I knew that they are equally desperate to see Papa as I was. Maybe they were trying to uncover all the possibilities. The least I could do was helping them to discover where Papa was. Maa and Dada were also trying their best. Of course they were not showing but I knew their hearts were sinking like a ship. But then they had this one thing called hope. Police would find him soon.
